Noted Daily ("we", "our", or "the app") is a mobile application for logging neighbour incidents. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data stored on your device only:
This data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. We do not have access to it, and it never leaves your device unless you choose to email a report.
If you consent during onboarding, we collect anonymous, aggregated data:
This data cannot identify you personally. It helps us understand how the app is used and improve it. You can decline analytics during onboarding.
When you send an incident report, the app opens your device's built-in email app with an Excel attachment. The email is sent directly from your email account to the recipient you choose. We never see, store, or process these emails.
Payments are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We receive only your subscription status (active/expired) — never your payment details, credit card number, or billing address.
Location data is recorded only when you actively tap a log button and only if you have granted location permission. GPS coordinates are stored on your device and included in your Excel reports if present. We do not track your location in the background.
Notifications are local only (generated on your device). We do not send push notifications from a server. You can enable or disable notifications in the app's settings at any time.
All data stays on your device until you delete the app or clear its data. Anonymous analytics data (if consented) is retained on our server in aggregated form and cannot be linked back to you.
Noted Daily is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Noted Daily is a personal documentation tool. The incident logs, reports, and data generated by this app are intended for your own record-keeping purposes. We do not guarantee that any documentation produced by this app will be accepted, recognised, or acted upon by:

By using Noted Daily and purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge that the app is a convenience tool and that acceptance of its output by any third party is not guaranteed. All purchases are made at your own risk.
The owner of Noted Daily is not liable for any damages to your device, loss of data, loss of services, or any other damages arising from the use of this application. You use this app entirely at your own risk.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
